FRANCE HUOT (Performer / Designer / Bouffon) Born in French River, France holds a BA from Laurentian University’s Art d’expression program. Currently, she is a graduate student in the Theatre Theory and Dramaturgy program at the University of Ottawa working on completing her masters on the “Pochinko” Clowning training as taught by John Turner at the Manitoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance where she has been training for the past five years. As a performer, France works in both English and French. Recent credits include Nowhere du Nord (Musagetes), Alphonse (Encore Theatre Company), Lenin’s Embalmer’s (Encore Theatre Company), and Ti-Jean et le Nénuphar de la destinée (CFOF Sudbury/ PRB). |
